Decarbonising London’s road transport to secure a cleaner, greener future

By 2030 60% of vehicles in London will be electric

More than 50,000 EVs are forecast to be sold every year in London until 2025.

Everything EV Live: London will deliver the collaboration that will build on TfL’s successful rollout of over 175 rapid charge points across the city and a growing network of over 1,100 lamp post charging points delivered by boroughs in residential areas.

London’s air is so dirty and polluted it amounts to nothing less than a serious public health crisis.

It breaches legal limits and blights the lives of Londoners, resulting in over 9,500 premature deaths every year from pollution and causing a range of lethal and debilitating illnesses, including cancer, heart disease and dementia.

London is at the forefront of the zero-emission revolution with more than 20,000 electric vehicles, 1,700 electric taxis and Europe’s largest electric bus fleet.

London's EV MArket Aspirations

9,500 people die every year in London due to air pollution

50% of London’s pollution comes from transport

50,000+ more charge points needed in London by 2025

310,000+ more EVs forecast in London by 2025
